The Future Written in the Stars RIP Jenny McCormick

Written in the Stars is a fanfiction written and published on FanFiction.Net. Though listed by JVM, the primary text was written by his co-writer and friend NoseBridgePinch with brief help from Madcow5678, credited as John, Amanda and Rachel respectively. The cover image was created by AnonPaul from DeviantArt.

Due to NoseBridgePinch leaving the fandom, the story has been put on a permanent hiatus and will not be completed. Eric Cartman, Kyle Broflovski and Kenny McCormick were not present but scheduled to appear in later chapters.

"Their love is written in the stars, but the world conspires to keep them apart..." (Matt Stone); Her career washed up and with nobody left to turn to, Wendy Testaburger turns to the only person left she trusts - her ex-boyfriend, Stan.

In October, shortly before his twenty-eighth birthday, Stan Marsh is now a veterinarian living alone in South Park in his family home, when he's visited in the snow by his longtime ex-girlfriend Wendy Testaburger, who's short-lived political career has come to a close due to a failed milk tax that caused her to become a social pariah. She begs to stay with him, claiming she has nowhere else to turn, unsure of Bebe's whereabouts and unable to reach her parents who have moved to Florida.

Im the evening she has a nightmare where the town mob pours acidic milk on her and wakes up to be somewhat comforted by Stan, and they reminisce about their childhood while talking about their careers and Stan's upcoming birthday. After waking up, Stan finds he's breaking out again in "vaginitis" while Wendy tries to cook breakfast for them, insisting on trying to help out before Stan talks about his dogs. Stan then stops at Jim's Drugs RX where he runs into Darryl Weathers and Carl Denkins, who badmouth Wendy's milk tax, much to Stan's annoyance. He then stops at Butters Stotch's toy shop to find a small gift for Wendy, and as he makes his purchase, he gives Butters advice on his hamsters.

Wendy ponders how she's affected Stan's life and talks with his dogs before he quickly stops home to get breakfast, drop off her gift and leave for work. Wendy then opens the gift after he leaves to find a small toy boat, a bottle of champagne and a lei, and a note telling her to have a mini-vacation and unwind.

  • "Fun With Veal", a favorite episode of both authors, is referenced extensively.
  • Jim's Drugs RX is from "Something Wall-Mart This Way Comes".
  • The 'vacation' theme and cruise ship references in the second chapter are nods to the opening scene of "Tom's Rhinoplasty".
