Origin
Carol and Sharon are the mothers of Kenny McCormick and Stan Marsh, two of the main characters of the series. While Carol is only very rarely seen, she often appears with Sharon in a group with the other mothers. Both were possible mothers for Eric Cartman and were implied to have had sex with Liane according to the episode "Cartman's Mom is Still a Dirty Slut" - whether this means they have ever had lesbian impulses is unknown.
