Serena Hales (better known as The Siren) is an original character created by sailormoon9993.
Serena lost her parents when she was a young baby, so doesn't know that much about their personal lives, but she does know more about their superhero lives. She currently lives with her grandparents in South Park and attends South Park Elementary. At night, she becomes the hero, Siren, or as the media dubs her, The Siren, and protects South Park (and sometimes the world) from any evil forces that wish to destroy the peace she has tried so hard to establish. She is also easily known as the girlfriend of Raven Hewitt.
Appearance[]
Serena usually wears a black jacket, white pants, and a pair of white gloves. As Siren, her appearance varies from form to form. After the events of Rani's 11th birthday, her appearance was altered so instead of pants she wears a white skirt and her hair is now in high ponytails. She can usually switch between the two outfit styles as she wishes.
Personality[]
Serena is one of the nicest kids at South Park Elementary. She is a bit shy, so she doesn't like talking to people very much but when she is on good terms with anyone, her true self starts to show. If she is around someone she knows, she is very random, goofy, and loves to show off her singing to them. When in class, she usually likes to keep to herself and really doesn't care to help people in her class if the subject is very easy to her and she thinks they should easily get it as it's not that hard to her.
She is also a theater freak and is always listening to showtunes, especially Wicked, as it is her favorite musical that she has seen so far. her grandparents always take her, Raven, & Spirit to the theater in Denver whenever a new musical comes to the area.
In the relationship with Raven, she is usually the submissive one. She usually lets Raven take them on dates (though Raven always asks if Serena wants to go anywhere in particular) and start the romantic things as she freaks out easily, which causes her to blush if something embarrasses her easily enough.
Family[]
Serena's parents both were superheroes when she was a baby, but both were supposedly killed during a big battle with a villain who is unknown. She now lives her grandparents and her girlfriend, Raven, also lives with them.
Taunya Hales (Mother)[]
Taunya is a superhero that is better known as Sirene. She loves Serena ever since she was born and gave up fighting crime for the first year that Serena was alive. Not a lot is known about Sirene. When Serena was around a year and half old, she and Serena's father went to fight against a villain after the superhero group she had formally been in asked for their help. They never returned and left Serena in the care of her parents. She is now a ghost and watching over her daughter, thanks to Spirit for being able to find them.
Serena has recently began to look into her mother's past to see who exactly was the villain who killed her mother and father but could not find out who exactly killed them but did manage to find out why they were called in again after being out a duty for the last years: the villain they fought had found a way to resurrect people from the dead not as zombies, but as full living humans and planned to resurrect old Nazis to put the world into World War 3.
Rod Hales (Father)[]
Rod is a superhero better known as Frozen Thought. He loved Serena like his wife did and fought crime alone while Sirene took care of their daughter in Serena's first year of life. Not a lot is known about Frozen Thought. he was killed along Sirene when they went to battle a villain after their former superhero group called them, asking for their help. He is now a ghost along with Sirene, thanks to Spirit.
Loretta Hales (Grandmother)[]
Serena loves her grandma with all of her heart. She is always there to give Serena a helping hand whenever she needs it and can make the best desserts and dinners ever. Her grandmother works at an office that works dental offices. She used to work at the Colorado Rockies stadium as an usher in her free time as they are her favorite team and has a whole room dedicated to them, but quit after working there after eight years due to it making her work 12-15 hour days.
John Hales (Grandfather)[]
Serena also loves her grandfather with all of her heart as well. He always can make Serena laugh whenever she feels down or just wants to laugh. He is extremely goofy and will sometimes make fun of certain things like "walk on my hands" by literally walking on his hands. He works as a truck driver delivering things around Noth Park, Middle Park, and South Park and dropped out of high school around his sophomore year.

Relationship with Raven Hewitt[]
Serena's current girlfriend. Raven met Serena just a few weeks before they went to go and fight 'The Silence.' Ever since Raven first met her, she has been head over heels in love with her. She is also the superhero "Nightfall." She is a very romantic girl and loves to charm Serena whenever she possibly can. She loves to make Serena blush all the time as she enjoys messing with her and is very perverted. Raven also lives with Serena, Spirit, and her grandparents as well.
Best Friendship with Ranielle Jayes[]
Serena cares for Rani very much and wishes she would stop smoking weed and doing all the stupid stuff she does all the time. Whenever Rani does something stupid, Serena cries out, "Goddammit, Rani!" which ends up with Rani whining. As Siren, she and Rani's atler ego, Chronic Hell, both go out and fight crime together.
Best Friendship with Anna Colemann[]
Serena and Anna usually sit on the bus together unless raven wants to sit next to her, in which Anna will sit next to Rani who is across from them, instead. Rani introduced Serena to Anna and they soon became fast friends. She thinks Anna is an awesome person and is one of the few people who has heard her singing voice and tries to encourage to sing in front of small groups of people, working her way up.
Best Friendship with Catherine Rose Dixon[]
Catherine and Serena are really good friends and are close enough to be best friends. She does hang out with Catherine a lot. She thinks that Catherine and Kenny should remain a couple and she thinks they are adorable together. She fought alongside Siren as Angel Wing against "The Silence" and sometimes even in little clashes against Chaos now.
Best Friendship with Leia Exasporie[]
She first met Leia as Foregate when her and Mysterion were recuriting new heroes in South park before heading around the country (then soon global) to find even more heroes to fight The Silence. They both get along quite well, and if Fili isn't around when she is down, she is there to comfort her.
Friendship/Partnership with Kenny McCormick[]
She first met Kenny in the third grade when they were both in Mr. Garrison's class. She later helped him out when he was Mysterion when she (as Siren) and him stop a guy after robbing a bank by taking him to the police. Mysterion was impressed by this feat and they both became partners and fought against the silence along with their fellow heroes (and villains.) They are still partners sometimes, but they don't fight alondside each other like they used too. They see each other all the time in cicilain form as he is Catherine's boyfriend.
Friendship with Karen McCormick[]
Karen sees Serena as an another angel in disguise to her as she treats her kindly and has sometimes helped her with her homework or invite her and Kenny over for dinner. The first time she saw Winged Siren, she thought that she was an angel at first. She now that Siren is just in fact a hero, but Karen secretly leaves she is an angel (like Mysterion.) She fought against The Silence as Mysteria, Mysterion's little sister against crime.
Past Friendship with Spirit[]
Spirit was one of Serena's best friends that used to live with her and her grandparents temporarily. She left South Park one day and hasn't been seen or heard from since. Serena does wonder sometimes what exactly ended up happening to her and why she left South Park so suddenly.
Siren[]
Unlike most children her age, Serena's powers are actually real. When Serena was 8, she learned that her parents had been superheroes and wanted to become one as well to follow in their footsteps. She has since made it her personal mission to protect the Earth and find the place that she truly belongs.
When Serena was 10 years old, a group who called themselves 'The Silence' has vowed to destroy the Earth within an year's time unless she and her friends are able to stop them. Since then, the heroes that had only been pretending before actually gained real superpowers.
Siren[]
This is Serena's basic and normal form, but can be turned into Super Siren during a time of great crisis. In this form, she uses all of her basic powers to help assist her teammates or herself in whatever sistuation they happen to be in at that time.
Her appearance as Siren is rather simple. Her long hair is tied off into two low ponytails while she wears a simple long-sleeved white leotard with a music symbol stitched on the left side. She also wears a pair of black flats and a black eyemask to protect her idenity.
Super Siren[]
Super Siren is an upgraded form of Siren which only can be called on during times of great crisis in which her normal powers aren't enough to deal with it and at least two of her friends must give up their powers temporarily and her desire has to be strong enough in order for her to transform. She almost seems to look like if she were a long lost princess of some sort, but she is not at all.
Her appearance as Super Siren is a long dress that is has a black and white top piece while the actual bottom part is white with black fluff lining it and her music symbol stitched into it. She also has two small grey bows on the sides with blue pendents on them and a large pink bow on the back of the dress. She wears small black high heel shoes with the outfit as well. She does not have her mask while in this form.
Powers[]
Her powers in and out of her superhero form are:
- That she has a hypnotic voice that can control people and make them do what she wants. This works most of the time except on people who have a strong will, but can still work on these same people if their will is not strong at that moment.
- She can also sing and help will arrive, no matter what the crisis is. (i.e. If she happens to be falling off the side of a building, something will come and save her, but one day, her voice may end up failing her though.)
Trivia[]
- Serena's future self was once the future Queen of America, but was changed since Serena didn't want the pressure of becoming a queen and destroyed it with the power that was contained within her. Her future, right now, is uncertain.
- Siren is inspired by Sailor Moon as she could transform and had special magical powers to help fight evil.
- Serena's favorite colors are black and white. She believes the color white means purity and black is evil and she is the balance of the good and evil.
- Unlike most South Park OC's, Serena is gay.
- Serena was originally born in New Orleans but her family moved to South Park when she was a baby to have a quieter life.
