Ric122 (also known as AgostoProductions, Sammarsh and many other aliases) is a South Park fan, fanfiction author, fan artist and troll who has been active in the South Park fandom since 2016. He has been notable for plagiarizing fanfiction and fanart, impersonating other users, attacking certain shippers, sending unsolicited fanart requests on Tumblr, impersonating YouTuber Angryjon within the South Park fandom, and causing problems on Twitter. He attracted considerable attention in mid-2017 for this behavior and became a meme for his art requests.
His work is published on FanFiction.Net, DeviantART, Archive of Our Own and Tumblr, and generally follows his original characters, the offspring of the show's canonical characters. He has affirmed support for certain pairings through his fanworks, and initially opposed other pairings, though he on some later occasions expressed support for those as well. His infamous art requests generally asked to see his OCs Sam Marsh or Levi alongside other family members, most commonly with their mothers, and Sammarsh is a known alias of his.
He caused many members of the fandom to leave the community and in some cases remove their works or delete their accounts. Upon gaining infamy within the fandom, he attempted to cultivate a status as a meme, including at one point creating a thread about himself on the website Kiwi Farms and inviting others to troll him. Regardless of his original intentions, it is believed some of his more recent behavior is likely a result of trying to maintain this status, including trying to create his own memes and continuing to pester artists.
Despite repeated apologies, he has continued many of the same patterns of behavior mentioned above, although he has primarily left FanFiction.net. His current Tumblrs are boxmaster54 and queensunako.
No one truly knows when he started; some say he's always been there, watching, waiting. You can often find him in Tumblr users' inboxes with one message: "Can you draw adult Wendy Testaburger Marsh with her [adult] son?".
Known aliases
He was originally known as Ric122 or AgostoProductins [sic], and is generally known under those names as mentioned above. He later made accounts under the name Sammarsh, and has since been seen as TreeFiddy04, TropeKing24, and currently he is AlejandroRodriguez04 on multiple sites.
His most recent known identity is gwenverse.
Overview and preferences
In his fanfiction as well as his art requests, Ric depicts next-generation characters such as Wendy with her children Sam and Lily, as well as Bebe with her son Levi, and in both cases sometimes depicts them alongside the canon characters' parents as aged adults. Sam has a crush on a girl known as either Sophie or Sofia Anderson, who does not seem to be related to any canonical characters. Cartman is married with a son named Derick, often depicted as friendly with Sam, and a daughter named Lindsay, who only appeared in one fic. Kendall is in a relationship with a girl named Mallory Coles.
These Next Generation characters represent the center of Ric's fanfiction universe and he is very fond of them, with many of his fics either involving situations setting them up – such as their parents getting together or getting married – while the sillier and more light-hearted fare tend to involve the new child characters. Though many of his stories are innocent, some of his stories include sexual elements and elements of kink that appear intended at least partially for humor; that said, some of Ric's stories depict incest, which most see as a line crossed too far (due to wiki policy we will not discuss this further).
As many of his stories in the past were and are plagiarized from other writers, he does not have a consistent writing style, sometimes failing to include basic grammar and sometimes appearing to have fine details and proper grammar. It is believed the poorer work is his authentic attempts at fanfiction and the superior work is that which is plagiarized, though few fans have tried to track down the original authors.
He briefly collaborated with fanfiction author Phantomzombie.
Trivia
- Ric122 is also a major fan of wrestling and has multiple accounts dedicated to wrestling fandom, including some that appear unrelated to his South Park fanfiction and trolling; we have elected not to link these.
- He tweeted uncensored images of his penis to women on Twitter on at least two occasions, which is a form of sexual harassment. He has ceased this behavior as far as is known.
- He created his own thread on the website Kiwi Farms, which specializes in "eccentric people who voluntarily make fools of themselves".
