The pairing randomly came to be thanks to a Tumblr user called eddiecorlisablog, who has expressed a lot of interest in the characters. They have requested several Tumblr users to draw fanart depicting the two characters, which has gone on to spread the pairing's awareness.

Popularity

The pairing is becoming somewhat semi-known in the South Park  section of Tumblr because of eddiecorlisablog's activism on its behalf, with several fanarts of them around the site. But many believe this ship is weird, impossible, since the two characters have never even talked to each other on screen.
