Bosse (sometimes Fossill) is the romantic pairing between Bill Allen and Fosse McDonald.
Bill and Fosse were almost always seen with each other when they had a speaking part in an episode, laughing at each other's jokes and gleefully referring to people or animals as "gay", often following up with more juvenile, pejorative humor. They, along with Terrance Mephesto, were rivals and bullies to the main characters at first, but later fall into their extended entourage before reduced to background characters after the seventh season.
In "Lil' Crime Stoppers", while again referring to various things around them as "gay", they can both be heard giggling and saying "We're gay" without any elaboration. This audio was reused for South Park: The Stick of Truth.
In South Park: The Fractured But Whole, they can both be found at Raisins, seeming to enjoy the attention of their female waitress, Lexus. However, when the player interacts with Fosse, he declares the New Kid is not his type, and Bill insists that Fosse is "taken" as both boys giggle.
Very little fanart or fanfiction featuring these characters was produced as they fell into disuse in the show, but their reappearances in both games has spurred a small flow of new content, and the two characters are shipped with each other more often than anyone else. Their preoccupation with one another, and homosexuality, supports a possible relationship.
- Not just one, but both of this ship's known names are based on existing words. "Bosse" is based on "bossy", as in someone who tells others what to do, while "Fossill" relates to "fossil", the remains of prehistoric species. (Ironically, both of these relate to their relationships with science-driven Terrance.)
- Before their last names were confirmed, some fan speculation placed them not as lovers, but as siblings.
